MCP Server

AIOZ MCP Server

The AIOZ MCP Server is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) (opens in a new tab) server for connecting MCP-compatible Super Intelligence clients to AIOZ Stream media and live streaming operations.

Use this page to build and run the server locally, review the tools it exposes, and connect clients such as Cursor, Claude CLI, ChatGPT, or VS Code.

MCP clients connect over SSE at https://mcp.aiozstream.network/sse?api_key=<BASE64URL_STREAM_CREDENTIALS>.

When to use this page

Use this page if you want to:

  • Count videos and audios in an AIOZ Stream account from a Super Intelligence client.
  • List videos or retrieve playback URLs by video name.
  • Create a live stream key for broadcasting.
  • Configure an MCP client to call AIOZ Stream tools.

Prerequisites

⚠️

Keep your AIOZ Stream API credentials private. Do not paste them into shared chats, public repositories, screenshots, or prompts that may be visible to other users.

Connection URL and api_key

Connect MCP clients to:

https://mcp.aiozstream.network/sse?api_key=<BASE64URL_STREAM_CREDENTIALS>

Create <BASE64URL_STREAM_CREDENTIALS> as follows:

  1. Open the AIOZ Stream API Keys page (opens in a new tab) and copy your public key and secret key.

  2. Create this JSON object with the exact field names shown below:

    { "publicKey": "<PUBLIC_KEY>", "secretKey": "<SECRET_KEY>" }
  3. Encode the complete JSON string with base64url, without padding. The encoded result is the api_key value.

For example, with Node.js:

node -e 'const value={publicKey:process.env.AIOZ_STREAM_PUBLIC_KEY,secretKey:process.env.AIOZ_STREAM_SECRET_KEY}; console.log(Buffer.from(JSON.stringify(value)).toString("base64url"))'

Set AIOZ_STREAM_PUBLIC_KEY and AIOZ_STREAM_SECRET_KEY in your local environment before running the command. Never commit either credential or the encoded api_key.

Available MCP tools

The server exposes the following tools to connected MCP clients. All tools use AIOZ Stream credentials from the SSE api_key query parameter. Do not pass publicKey or secretKey as tool arguments.
