Step-by-step: AIOZ Stream player setup and customization

Follow these steps to set up and customize the AIOZ Stream Player for your application.

Step 1: Player session setup

  1. Access the player session: Log in to your AIOZ Stream account and navigate to the "Player Session" section on the dashboard. This is where you will manage and configure your custom video players.
  2. Add a new player: Click the "Add a Player" button to create a new player. This will allow you to customize its settings and appearance for later use with your videos.
  3. Input player name: Provide a unique name for your new player. This name will be used to identify and select this custom player for each video you configure on the platform.

Step 2: Customize the player settings

  1. Navigate to the configuration tab: In the player setup interface, move to the "Config" tab to customize the player's settings.
  2. Set player dimensions:
    • Thumb Height: Adjust the thumbnail height to control the size of the preview images displayed in the player.
    • Track Height: Modify the height of the video track bar to suit your design needs.
  3. Configure color settings:
    • Main Color: Set the primary color for the player controls and highlights.
    • Background Color: Choose a background color that matches your application's theme.
    • Track Color: Define the color for the video track bar to make it more visible or subtle.
    • Text Color: Select a color for any text elements displayed within the player.
    • Caption Color: Customize the color for video captions to ensure readability and brand consistency.
  4. Save the player configuration: After customizing all the settings, save the configuration to ensure that all changes are applied to the player.

Step 3: Apply the custom player to your videos

  1. Move to the video settings: Navigate to the "Videos" section in your dashboard, where you manage your video content.
  2. Choose a video to configure: Select the video you want to associate with the custom player you just created.
  3. Select the custom player: In the video settings, find the option to choose a player. Select the custom player you created from the dropdown list.
  4. Save the video configuration: Save the settings to apply the custom player to your chosen video. Your video will now use the customized player configuration you defined.
