The AIOZ Network is a complex project with a simple mission: Improve the lives of content creators and consumers throughout the world. While the technology may be overwhelming for the majority of readers, the results are plain to see. Distributed networks can offer unprecedented advantages when it comes to bandwidth and delivery, but they will also change the way we think about the roles of creators, consumers, and advertisers within the industry.
We have been working on this project for more than two years now and while developing is our strength we feel that we are finally ready to share our vision with the wider crypto community, giving everyone in the world a chance to join a brand new world of content delivery and streaming through proven incentive structures that benefit all parties involved while removing unnecessary middlemen. This is what blockchain is all about.

As previously mentioned, AIOZ has been in the works for several years. We’re not in the business of vaporware. The core structure for the AIOZ network is currently live and running. Community members can now download and run nodes easily — read our node guide here.
There are several platforms built on top of the network, including AIOZ Tube, AIOZ OTT, and AIOZ TV, which will showcase the power of the network itself, inciting developers to build on top of our protocol. However, there is still much to be done and 2021 will surely be a challenging year. One that we are looking forward to. Our roadmap can be seen below:

Q1–2021: Structural improvements
The first quarter of 2021 will possibly be one of the most important milestones for the AIOZ project. We need to improve on years on development through stress testing. This includes:
AIOZ Edge Nodes Improvements
AIOZ Blockchain Explorer upgrades
Q2–2021: Development support
Once we’re done with the fundamental improvements to the AIOZ network infrastructure. Our focus will be to introduce WebRTC streaming, the last fundamental component of our infrastructure, the missing link that makes our network truly peer-to-peer (P2P), and also release the corresponding tools for developers, consumers, and creators. These include:
Q3–2021: Development implementation
The third quarter will see the previous improvements implemented on the AIOZ network itself. This quarter will be all about completing the ecosystem and adding more features (live streaming, caching) which will in turn create more jobs and revenue for Edge Nodes community. We will be introducing:
Q4–2021: AIOZ Economy
The last quarter of 2020 will see additional upgrades which will bring the world of DeFi and NFTs to the AIOZ Network as well as the ability to issue simple or complex assets on the AIOZ Blockchain. We will be implementing the following features:
Q1–2022: AIOZ Inception
2022 is upon us and we will now be releasing all the development work done in previous quarters. This includes:
AIOZ is a Blockchain-based Content Delivery Network that is about to bring a revolution to the entertainment industry.
AIOZ utilizes Blockchain to better content distribution through decentralisation. A distributed Content Delivery Network (dCDN) uses Nodes for storing, streaming, and transferring data instead of traditional data centers operating on a P2P model.
AIOZ uses a faster, cheaper, and more robust platform for content streaming making it affordable, fast, and of better quality.
By using this revolutionary technology, AIOZ can efficiently change the way the world streams content. Thus taking the world one step closer to the future.

Modern streaming workflows need more than a player. This guide breaks down what developers should define first across architecture, delivery, playback, APIs, and product integration.

Modern streaming is no longer just an upload-to-playback flow. This explainer looks at how streaming pipelines need to evolve for creator-led media, decentralized infrastructure and more flexible delivery models.

As 2024 becomes the "year of DePIN", we are excited to announce another collaboration that will see AIOZ Network infrastructure and tooling support budding developers and project teams in the industry. We're making access to DePIN tooling easy for Aptos developers, with the addition of AIOZ Network into the Aptos ecosystem. With AIOZ W3S (S3 compatible object storage), IPFS, VOD/streaming and web3 AI infrastructure all being unveiled this year, the budding Aptos developer community can now disc

Ever since the era of early digital computers like the UNIVAC, data storage has continuously evolved while serving as the irrefutable cornerstone of modern technology. To provide context, the total amount of data created, captured, copied, and consumed globally reached 64.2 zettabytes in 2020 and is estimated to reach 180 zettabytes by 2025. AIOZ decentralizes media content delivery, reinventing the way Web3 media content is stored, delivered, and transcoded. Our global community of peer-to-peer nodes combines computing power to store, deliver, and transcode digital media. In exchange for contributing their computing resources to the AIOZ Web3 Content Delivery Network (CDN), these nodes are rewarded with AIOZ tokens. AIOZ DePIN Anyone can join in powering the AIOZ Web3 CDN on their device using the AIOZ Node app. Any user with a

AIOZ Network’s decentralized Content Delivery Network (dCDN) According to our most recent on-chain data, the AIOZ Network currently has over 36,000 nodes worldwide, with around 14,000 nodes in Europe, 11,679 nodes in Asia, and 7,500 nodes in South America. From March 1, 2021, to December 25, 2021, AIOZ Network’s decentralized content delivery network (dCDN) delivered a total of 270,000 videos equivalent to 841 TB and a collective storage capacity of more than 110 TB, over 18 million segments.
