We have a piece of great news this week; we are incredibly excited to announce that AIOZ is collaborating with the University of Liverpool’s talented researchers to do studies and build AI solutions for AIOZ Network.

Founded in 1881 as one of the six original ‘red brick’ universities, the University of Liverpool is located in Liverpool, one of the UK’s leading research-intensive educational institutions. Liverpool is a member of Russell Group, the N8 Group of the UK’s leading research universities.

It had an annual turnover of more than £500 million ($688 million), including more than £90 million ($123 million) from research. The University has about 33,000 students studying there, where researchers from all over the world assemble with outstanding research achievements in many fields, typically information technology.

We believe that the collaboration in the research and development of AI solutions will bring great mutual benefits to both sides. With the advantages of people and facilities and a passion for technology, we have partnered with the University of Liverpool to research and build AI solutions to build Smart Video Compression for AIOZ Network.

Ending buffering

Living in the digital world, we love watching videos with vivid, authentic, colorful images. The covid pandemic broke out globally in the context of social distancing, leading online activities to increase, making an explosion of the wave of live streams and video content.

However, we have to compress the video before uploading a high-quality video to the Internet because of the bandwidth limits. Usually, we need supporting software to compress the video and then upload it. But with the Smart Video Compression system, it will be much simpler.

AIOZ Network is the platform for entertainment and streaming. To diversify functions and improve video quality, we have partnered with the University of Liverpool for research and development to integrate AI into the blockchain to create a Smart Video Compression system for the AIOZ Network.

We built an AI-powered Video Compression system by implementing artificial intelligence techniques such as machine learning and neural networks. The system uses artificial intelligence to process video codecs, so it processes real-time better, instead of typically having to spend time scanning through pixels that consume a lot of your bandwidth.

The system helps minimize buffering when live streaming or watching live streaming videos while providing viewers with clear footage. Moreover, AI can automatically align your face even if the camera angle is tilted to the side.

With the support and talent of people from The University of Liverpool in researching and developing AI solutions to further improve the AIOZ Network platform, we believe that AIOZ Network and AI-powered Video Compression promises to create breakthroughs in live streaming and the entertainment industry in general.
